Sette Menu

Hours: Lunch (Mon.-Fri.) and Dinner (Mon.-Sat.). Closed Sun.

Price: $$$

Perched on the edge of Shem Creek in an old converted Pizza Hut, Sette is Sal Parco's Italian restaurant, complete with his trademark roving whiteboard of specials, massive slices of cake, and half-price wine deals on weeknights. The big, solid portions of Italian-American classics come at modest prices. They include more than a dozen pasta plates ranging from capellini pomodoro to butternut squash ravioli with caramelized apples and gorgonzola cheese. The veal or chicken parmigiano, marsala, and piccata and big specialities like the massive pork shank osso bucco with risotto guarantee that you won't leave hungry. —Robert Moss, Dish (Summer 2012)
