Owl's Nest Plantation

Out of all the vendors at the Mt. Pleasant and downtown farmers markets, we are always impressed by the variety of heirloom produce Owl’s Nest Plantation grows. Their price point reflects quality, but it’s hard to be bothered by the extra cost when you bring home a bag of such colorful and interesting food. We love their Peruvian fingerlings (purple potatoes) and golden beets. They’re also known for growing up to 35 different varieties of heirloom tomatoes. This spring and summer, look for their strawberries, dewberries, white asparagus, fava beans, Brussels sprouts, parsnips, radishes, beets, carrots, baby arugula, raspberries, blueberries, peaches, figs, and more. David Howe owns the farm, which is certified naturally grown. Owl’s Nest also operates as a full-service organic and natural food purveyor that will deliver food directly to businesses.
