Boone Hall Market

The Boone Hall Market is a small-scale grocery store with produce grown at the farm next door and a café that uses food from the grocery. They do business Mon.-Sat. from 9 a.m.-7 p.m., and on Sun. from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Although Boone Hall can’t get all their fruits and vegetables from the plantation, they seasonally source from the Columbia Farmers Market to fill out their selection. They sell fish and shrimp caught by local fishermen, bake fresh bread, and sell butcher cuts of high-quality meat. In the fall they have tomatoes, fall squashes, the pumpkin patch, and greens. Sure, the Boone Hall Market attracts tourists, but it’s still a great place to do your weekly grocery shopping. Stop by on your way home and order a hearty home cooked meal from their cafe, which features favorites like she crab soup and home churned ice cream.
