This event has been canceled. A lecture by Gius Gargiulo, a professor at the University of Paris West, Nanterre-La Defense and at the research lab MoDyCo CNRS Ouest in Paris. Gargiulo will consider the narrative, visual, and interactive qualities of the video game Assassin’s Creed in explaining how the most controversial excerpts from Machiavelli’s The Prince intersect with the religious and ideological “creed” of power.
