Theme music with sirens wailing in the foreground. Big jail doors slamming shut. High-tech graphics. Local cable company Comcast C2's Busted with Brendan Clarke has it all. As one of the newly added shows on the C2 roster, Busted borrows veteran newsman Clarke from local NBC affiliate News 2's anchor desk and has him ask viewers to help the show with new information on various "cold cases" and bad guys on the lam. Reggie Sharp, the Charleston Sheriff's Office master deputy, usually plays Clarke's no-nonsense sidekick, reciting the offenses and descriptions of some of the Lowcountry's most wanted. The show hits the screen 11 p.m. Monday through Friday and 3:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. It's dry and choppy at times, but it's informative. The mugshots of some of the local criminals are awesome.
