Ted Behling says... This restaurant closed temporarily and has now re-opened. My wife & I went there many times before it closed and always enjoyed it. We have not been back since re-opening so can't comment on how it is now. ★★★★★
Melissa Ballard says... Just came home from Charleston, SC and had to make sure I left a comment! This is the BEST place if your looking for some good ole soul food!! I had the fried flounder, mac & cheese, fried okra & coca cola chocolate cake and it was FABULOUS!!! Also tasted the collard greens & corn bread, oh it was delicious too!! Very reasonable cost and the best service!!! Yes, the wait is well worth it!! Can't wait to go back, makes my mouth water just thinking about it!! Wish I could have tasted everything!! ★★★★★
Clodette Winters says... In Dec. I was in S. C. and by accident I found "JESTINE"s. There was a parking space on the side of the restaurant but the sign said, "no parking 2 - 7 p m". It was after 7 so I parked there. I asked inside if they thought it was O K if I parked there. The Manager said, "Will, you may or may not get a ticked". So I went to move my car and the Manager came out with me. He asked if I saw the white truck parked down the street, I said, "yes", he told me to take that spot as soon as the truck moved. I asked how he knew it was going to move. He said, "I have the keys in my hand". What a graceious thing to do if we all could just be nicer to others it would be a better world. Now that's Southern Hospitality and he is a real Southern Gentleman. Thank you for that unusual experience. Jestine's is a fun place to be and the food is good also. Thank you! Clodette Winters ★★★★★
