We really like Cracker Barrel. Not only does the roadside chain bring back memories of childhood trips, but we also love browsing the gift shop while we're waiting to be seated. Which is one reason we love Two Boroughs Larder. Yes, the stylish Coming Street restaurant has a great menu created by chef/owner Josh Keeler. But they've also made room on one side of the restaurant for a retail section with several shelves of kitchen products. It's an important part of their "larder" concept, giving customers a place to stock their pantries while they fill their bellies. You can pick up local and international products like Trubee Honey, Hickory Hill Milk, Vermont Butter, and Benton's Bacon along with non-food items like tea towels, baskets, and Mason jars. It kind of puts Cracker Barrel's kitschy collection to shame.
