Shot and directed by Keith Bradshaw, the music video for songwriter Frank Royster's catchy pop-rock song "Mr. Wonderful" looked more like an expensive short film than a typical MTV clip. The footage followed two young characters as they embarked on various romantic endeavours. Royster and his rhythm section — bassist Julian Volpe and drummer Tommy Hamer (all are bandmates in the Hed Shop Boys, too) — played while crammed in a tiny tool shed. A few scenes show the trio manually projected onto downtown buildings. Additional behind-the-scenes footage reveals how Bradshaw's low-budget video idea ballooned into a major production. Bradshaw is a current member of Best of Charleston winners Plane Jane. With work like this, he's armed to venture into new cinematic territory as well.
