The Army Wives folks shoot in Park Circle all the time. They've shot at two beloved but now defunct Old Village restaurants, Aunt Bea's and Park Circle Coffee and Cream. And you can routinely find them filming at the Danny Jones Complex. But one particular recent location shoot stands out. It took place not too long ago on East Montague Avenue in the heart of the Old Village, and it's all part of this year's Army Wives teaser commercial. The promo in question features all the show's lovely ladies walking up the street, while the wild wind blows and dark clouds form. Apparently, one of the Army Wives titular characters is not going to make it out of this season alive. Uh oh. However, if there is one bright spot to the promo, it's that the ad is like an advertisement for downtown Park Circle's businesses. It makes the whole area look like a little slice of Mayberry.
