Flagship 3

Staff Pick

With the Flagships 1 and 2, Ernest Andrade and his organization, the Charleston Digital Corridor, created communal workspaces to help local tech companies get their early-stage businesses off the ground. And while both FS1 and FS2, with their conference rooms, affordable office spaces, and sleek, modern look, have been boons to Charleston techies, FS3 is set to blow them out of the water. Plans for the 50,000 square-foot space include office space for companies with up to 50 employees, an athletic facility, a cafe, a roof deck, and classrooms for the Digital Corridor’s CODECamp computer coding classes. The four-story building plan was approved by the Board of Architectural Review back in September, and the facility is expected to be complete in summer of 2016.
