Last year, we had several new food trucks pop up, but some of those weren't really food trucks. They were catering trucks that you could hire for your events. We much prefer the type of food truck that roams around looking for places to park and sell their tasty wares. And that's what Roti Rolls is all about. They are street food, pure and simple. A roti is a type of flatbread, thin like a crepe but doughier and flakier, that gets filled with a variety of locally sourced meat and vegetables. For instance, they recently had MiBek farms short ribs, ancho-rubbed Chucktown Chicken, and curried veggies from Fields Farms. It's nourishment for the soul. Follow them on Twitter (@RotiRolls) so you can get in on some of this delicious action.
