Mt. Pleasant's Ali Baba has earned a strong reputation for its Mediterranean fare, but they also brew up a terrifically pungent cup of traditional Arabic coffee. They start with a dark-roast coffee, crank it through the espresso machine, and spice things up with sugar and fresh cardamom. Sipping it is an eye-opening experience. Drink it carefully, though — the grounds and herbs sit like sediment at the bottom of the cup.
