Attendees were skeptical that the Galliard Auditorium could pull off a Girl Talk concert, but by God they did, and there wasn't a disappointed glow stick-wielding kid in sight. Sure, the theater seating limited dance space, but hipsters worked around the restrictions by mounting chairs and sitting on shoulders. It was a hot sweaty mess, and that's exactly as it should have been. So props to Charleston and the Gaillard for keeping the concert local and in the downtown district, naysayers be damned.
