Not everybody's got a fat Bill Murray-sized movie-star wallet. We can't just mosey into a high-end restaurant for a big honking $50 steak any time we get a hankering. Some of us have to buy those stupid coupon books or wait for the perfect Dealmob deal to show up online. But now we have another option. Restaurant Week happens twice a year (September and January), and when it does, the whole town puts on its eating pants and gets down to business. Organized by the Greater Charleston Restaurant Association, Restaurant Week is full of deals in dining rooms all across town. The high-end joints offer three courses for $30 while the more moderate places do three courses for $20. It's become quite an event in no time, and we hope it continues for years to come.
