As part of its 10-year anniversary celebration, the Charleston Academy of Music is hosting free Rush Hour Mini-Concerts featuring CAM faculty and honor students. The concerts run from 5:30-6 p.m. and are designed for working people and families, so they can drop in after work or school. A pre-concert talk starts at 5:15 p.m.

The second concert in the series takes place Oct. 22, and pianist Chee-Hang See and clarinetist Phillip Lipton will perform selections by Robert Schumann, Gerald Finzi, and Kenji Bunch. Afterward, guests are invited to stay for a reception to meet the musicians.

All concerts are on Tuesday evenings at the CAM Recital Hall, 189 Rutledge Ave., on the second floor. Visit charlestonmusic.org or call (843) 805-7794 to learn more.
