Dangermuffin, 2012
Local trio Dangermuffin — singer/guitarist Dan Lotti, drummer Steven Sandifer, and guitarist/banjoist Mike Sivilli — are taking a musical spring break in March and April to play series of unplugged sets in town and at the Surf Bar on Folly.

Performing under the moniker AcousticMuffin, the trio is scheduled for Sunday nights at 9 p.m. in the main room at the Surf Bar on Folly Beach and on Mondays from 5-9 p.m. on the deck at the Pour House.

In the meantime, the band is gearing up for summer tours behind a self-produced studio album (a follow-up to 2010’s Moonscapes). They recorded a full set of new material with engineer Majeed “MJ” Fick at Truphonic Recording in West Ashley. A CD release show is solid for Sat. May 12 at the Music Farm.
