Gritty Grace Potter and the Nocturnals will make a stop in North Charleston on Sept. 28 during the final leg of their "Roar Tour." The band has been touring on and off for around a decade, zigzagging the country and spreading their brand of rock 'n' roll one city at a time. Earlier this year, they swung by the Music Farm and played to a packed house, so it's no surprise that the Holy City made Potter's list again.
Over the course of their career, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals have played with everybody from Dave Matthews to the Avett Brothers, and they'll be joining two rock greats in the coming weeks, Robert Plant and the Allman Brothers. Ms. Potter and crew will also be teaming up with beloved chicken-raising Charleston duo Shovels and Rope and alt-rock wonders City and Colour, to name a few, for a festival in their home state of Vermont.
The soulful rockers are perhaps best know for their hit single, the bluesy and grungy "Paris (Ooh La La)" and their electric guitar- and drumbeat-heavy 2012 album The Lion The Beast The Beat.
