In case you missed the Today Show filming on College of Charleston’s campus back in May, you can get your summer’s dose of live television in downtown Summerville today. WCBD’s News 2 is filming live during Summerville's Third Thursday for their Lowcountry Proud series.

Brad Franko, Octavia Mitchell, Josh Marthers, Carolyn Murray, Rob Fowler, and Brendan Clark will all be there to celebrate Dorchester County and to interact with the fans. Although it’s a local news station, not a national one, Kristen Byrum of News 2 says, “We want this to be a ‘Today Show’ type feel” with “as much community participation as we can get.” So bring out your vibrantly colored signs and your best photo-bombing faces, and see what live TV looks like from in front of the cameras.

They’ll be shooting live at noon and from 5-6:30 p.m.
