Charleston golfer wins in PGA debut
23-year old Russell Henley, a UGA grad who now calls the Lowcountry home and is a member at Country Club of Charleston, won the Sony Open in Hawaii over the weekend, becoming the first roookie to win in his PGA debut tournament in a decade. The win earns him an automatic qualification for The Masters in Augusta, G.A.
