Hours: Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner
At the Boulevard Diner, you can scarf down a BLT or tuna melt for lunch and put away hearty portions of Cajun-style meatloaf or chicken pot pie for dinner. For our money, though, this diner is best for breakfast, serving a straightforward slate of classics in a down-to-earth setting. Fluffy pancakes are kissed with cinnamon. Substantial omelets are filled with ham, bacon, and sausage. The poached eggs atop the crab cake benedict ooze just the right amount of golden yolk. Whether you’re driving in from the beach or stopping off for a bite on the way to work, the honest, no-frills fare hits the spot. With recently added Sunday hours, Boulevard fans can now get their fill for a weekend brunch, too. —Robert Moss Dish (Winter 2015)
