Colin Quinn

When: Mon., Oct. 21, 7 & 9:30 p.m. 2013

It seems like kismet for Colin Quinn to bring his Unconstitutional tour to Charleston. With the government being shut down, a little historical humor about the founding of the good ol’ U.S. of A. is just what we need. Quinn will cover more than 200 years of history in his 75-minute sketch. Brandy Sullivan, co-artistic director at Theatre 99, says, “When Theatre 99 was asked to be the South Carolina venue for Colin Quinn’s Unconstitutional we jumped at the opportunity. He has been on the national scene for years doing everything from Saturday Night Live to Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn. It’s a big deal,” Sullivan says. “Colin Quinn doing a one-man show in an intimate 130-seat theater? That kind of thing doesn’t happen around here everyday.”
