WEDNESDAY. The Community of I’on Artists Annual Art Show will have local artist’s original works at the Creek Club on Sullivan’s Island. The work is for sale, but it’s free to window shop. Head to Folly later to see Beach Party play at Blu Restaurant & Bar.

THURSDAY. Remembering “Her” Time: The Art of Bernice Mitchell Tate, a “herstory and heritage” of female identity and African-American womanhood opens for a two-month exhibit at the College of Charleston, free all summer.

FRIDAY. Prepare for beach season with Bike to Work Day. Reward yourself with Charleston Moves Work to Bike Party, an evening celebration at the Hippodrome with live music by Satellite Rodeo, New Belgium beer, a silent auction and more. You can also cruise by Rebekah Jacob Gallery and Redux for opening receptions.

SATURDAY. Ahoy! The Treasure Nest Art Fest will be showcasing artworks. The artists will be available to meet and greet and direct you to the gold. Continue the search at The Village Street Sale, a yard sale in the Old Village in North Charleston. Stay around because Flat Tires, an indie country fusion, play at The Mill, also in the Old Village.

SUNDAY. The Community Cinema Series presents Strong!, a documentary about a big woman with a bigger dream. Watch the 300-pound U.S. Olympic weight lifter prepare for Beijing.
