Le Club Fez Image

From the spicy tagines to the oh-so-crisp potato gaufrettes, to dine beyond the carved wooden screens, in the dark recesses of Fez, transports the senses to the romance of colonial Morocco. The extensively-researched menu features the familiar (steak frites anyone?), as well as more arcane selections, like Argan oil drizzled atop dishes full of exotic spice. Whatever your bent, from the classic French mussels to the spicy North African fare, Fez can deliver a satisfying trip to another time and place. -Jeff Allen (Open for dinner Tues.-Sat. from 5-10 p.m.; Sundays for brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
