When: Sat., Nov. 5, 12:30-5:30 p.m. 2011
Get ready for the second installment of the Mt. Pleasant Beer Fest hosted by Mellow Mushroom in Mt. Pleasant. The Dubplates will be back to provide rhythmic reggae beats while beer lovers sample beers from over 35 local and national breweries. We’re still waiting to get confirmation on what will be poured this year.
The beer fest benefits the Windwood Farm Home for Children, a local organization that provides support to boys who are victims of abuse and neglect.
You can get a general admission ticket or you can splurge and go VIP for $35, which will get you valet parking, a seat in the VIP section with various local “celebrities,” band members, and and platinum sponsors, and a gift bag including glassware and a shirt. The restaurant will also be open so you can keep track of the football scores and satisfy any pizza cravings. Last year’s was a huge success, and we expect the turnout to be even bigger this time around, so get your tickets soon.
Price: $20/adv., $25/day of
