Oktoberfest Weihenstephaner Beer Dinner 

When: Wed., Oct. 27, 7 p.m. 2010

What: This month's installment of Carolina's beer dinner series (the final one of the year) features lagers and ales from the Bavarian brewery Weihenstephaner. Prepared by Chef Jeremiah Bacon and his team, the five-course menu pairs a housemade bratwurst and cabbage with Weihenstephaner's hoppy Festbier, house curried charcuterie with the Vitus Weizenbock, sautéed triggerfish and brussels sprouts with Hefeweissbier, pork tenderloin and spaetzle with Hefeweissbier Dunkel, and German Forest Cake with the strong Korbinian Doppelbock.
