Reorientation III

When: 2009

Redux Contemporary Art Center presents the third installment of their bi-annual Reorientaion show, which highlights the art of the studio renters, along with the print shop and darkroom artists. Paintings, sculpture, and photos from the artists will be on display in this traditional art exhibit. On the opening night, guests are welcome to check out Redux in its entirety by wandering through the public and private studio space that the artists work in. Tom Stanley, the juror for the exhibit, selected specific artists back in February to showcase their work. Chair of the Department of Fine Arts at Winthrop University and an artist himself, Stanley has organized exhibitions for 25 years as the director of the Waterworks Visual Arts Center and Winthrop University Galleries. The New Music Collective will perform on opening night, and the artists will be present at the reception. —Anna Linesch
