When: Tue., Feb. 14, 7 p.m. 2012
What: This Valentine’s Day, Heart Woodfire Kitchen is serving up more than just the usual food (like what you read about in our review on page 40). Along with the crackle of wood-burning ovens and scent of freshly baked flatbread comes the most delectable menu item of all: swing dancing. Tuesday night, the James Island eatery opens its doors to the V-Tones, a swinging uke band, accompanied by a pair of professional swing dancing instructors who are sure to have patrons rocking out in no time. The V-Tones kick off the evening at 7 p.m. in the dining room, and the kitchen will be serving up their normal menu items, from fire-roasted flatbread concoctions to baked four cheese macaroni. Whether you’re a seasoned swing dancer or simply a dedicated foodie, join Heart Wood Fire Kitchen for this Valentine’s Day dinner and dance. Reservations are still available.
