Veteran West Coast pop/rock band the Doobie Brothers — one of the ultimate American rock bands of the 1970s — had a string of gold and platinum albums and numerous radio hits, including “Listen to the Music,” “Black Water,” “China Grove,” “Long Train Runnin’,” “Black Water,” and “Jesus is Just Alright.” The band recently released World Gone Crazy, their first album in 10 years. The current lineup features lead singer/guitarist Tom Johnston with Guy Allison (keys), John McFee (guitar, strings), Marc Russo (sax), John Cowan (bass), Pat Simmons (guitar), and a rotation of drummers. Local songwriter Bobby Houck (of Blue Dogs) opens with an acoustic set. 7 p.m.
