It’s the 44th anniversary of Woodstock, which means it’s time for old hippies everywhere to celebrate. To that end, Michelle Weaver of Charleston Grill is once again putting together the best vegetarian meal of the year — VegStock. To kick off the evening, they’ll host a reception in the Palmetto Café Courtyard, with tantalizing tidbits like corn pudding tamales, zucchini pad Thai, watermelon infused with sangria, and peaches with burrata, hazelnuts, and arugula. A three-course dinner with wine pairings will follow in the Vintner’s Room. Expect to see tomato tartare, herb potato gnocchi, and a cornmeal waffle. “We have an unbelievable array of vegetarian dishes,” says Mickey Bakst, manager of Charleston Grill. “There’s a lot of wine, a lot of food, a lot of jovial feelings, a lot of really, really good times.” —Kailey Miller NEXT WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY
