In case you haven't heard our incessant yammering about it, the Charleston Comedy Festival starts tonight. Wednesday's schedule is all about local talent, and it includes the festival's sole free event, Stand-Up on the Creek.
Taking place at the picturesque Red's Ice House on Shem Creek, the free Stand-up on the Creek features six local stand-up comedians. Besides that, Theater 99 is the place to be with an 8 p.m. show with Full Love Throttle and Human Fireworks followed by a 10 p.m. set from Neckprov and Little Miss Codependent.
After the shows, be sure to head to Mellow Mushroom for the festival's first L'After Party, with live music from Rawberry Jam. Sweetwater drafts and Yuengling Light bottles are $3.
