Karaoke Smackdown promises brutal competition Sunday night

So you think you can sing?

Did you miss the last round of American Idol auditions? Never fear. Threshold's Karaoke Smackdown returns for a third round this Sunday night. In honor of V-day, they'll be tackling an opposite sex theme. See trailer for more insight than I could ever provide with mere words:

Brian Porter fresh off his performance as Saucy Jack of Saucy Jack & the Space Vixens will host the evening. Contestants are currently being selected, so if you want to be one of the ten lucky performers, contact What If Productions.

In the first round, contestants will sing songs made famous by someone of the opposite sex. Judges Dusty Slay, Andy Rider, and Pam Galle will then select the top four to perform a song on the spot for the final round.

Disappointed contestants can find comfort from grief counselor Dr. Gustauf (Andrea McGinn of Five Lesbians Eating A Quiche), who will be conducting exit interviews.

In between the rounds, the audience, who should be dressed in appropriately funny costumes, will get to play Karaoke Roulette. A bar and some liquid courage should help fuel your desire to participate.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased here.
