Folk artist Lonnie Holley to do Halsey residency and concert in September

  • Provided
We've known for a little while now that Lonnie Holley, a folk artist and musician, will be at the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art this fall for a residency and exhibition of his assemblage works, but it's recently been announced that Holley will also perform a concert at the Charleston Music Hall on Sept. 12.

Holley has two albums out, Keeping a Record of It and Just Before Music, although he's been recording music on his own since the 1980s. He'll be performing with guests Ben Sollee and Infinitikiss (aka Mr. Jenkins).

You can read more about Holley's upcoming exhibition and residency on the Halsey website. To get tickets to the Sept. 12 concert, go here
