CANCELLED: Todd Barry Comedy Fest show

Damn you Snowmageddon

Damn this winter storm. Due to flight cancellations, comedian Todd Barry will not be able to make it for his Saturday night Charleston Comedy Festival show.

"He busted his ass trying to make something work, but he is stuck in NYC," says the fest's co-founder Brandy Sullivan who adds, "The stand up winners will be performing with him when we reschedule."

UPDATE with a note from Comedy Festival organizers:

We are so sorry to send this, but Todd Barry's flight has been canceled tomorrow due to the winter storm hitting the east coast. Todd has spent the day bending over backwards to find a way to get here, but the entire Northeast is on lockdown because of the blizzard.

His show on Saturday night (January 23) at 7:30 p.m. is canceled. You will receive a full refund.

The good news is that we will be rebooking the show in the next couple of months and we will be sure to let you know when the date is set.

There are tickets available to other great shows in the festival on Saturday:

AirWolf / McQueen (Theatre 99)

Reformed Whores (Woolfe Street Playhouse)

Underwear Comedy Party (Woolfe Street Playhouse)

The Magic Negro and Other Blackness / Conversations with Body Language (Theatre 99)

Rip City: A Comedy Show (PURE Theatre)

Bridget Everett tickets are still available for tonight at 8pm at the Sottile.

Again, we're sorry that we have to cancel the show. Thank you for understanding!
