Proving that you can’t keep a good comic down, local shows by stand-ups T.J. Miller and Todd Barry have been rescheduled following cancellations resulting from winter storm Jonas.

Known for his deadpan humor and TV appearances on Louie and Flight of the Conchords, Barry returns to Charleston Fri. March 25, at 8 p.m. at the Sottile Theater. That evening’s show will also include performances by the winners of the Charleston Stand-Up Comedy Competition: Mike Goodwin, Jeremy McLellan, and Deshawn Mason. Tickets are $20.

The following night, Miller, star of HBO’s Silicon Valley and the upcoming film Deadpool, hits the stage at the Sottile at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $28.

Those who purchased tickets to the original Charleston Comedy Festival shows in January will receive the first opportunity to buy tickets to the rescheduled performances. A special ticket link will be emailed to those fans Friday afternoon, allowing them to reserve their seats in advance before sales open to the general public on Mon. Feb. 1, at noon. Tickets for both shows will be available for purchase online at citypapertickets.com.
