We don't know about you, but we're getting pretty stoked for Charleston's first Crafty Bastards, an arts and crafts fair presented by yours truly. Last week we let you know how you could volunteer for the festival, and today we're teasing you with the good stuff — a sneak peek of some of the vendors presented at the Joe on Sat. Dec. 2, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Attendees can shop goods from Modern South Studio
, with works created by artist and illustrator Cory McBee. (Pssst: McBee creates both prints and ornaments, to fulfill all of your holiday shopping needs).
Tanya Casteel creates whimsical spirit animals.
Hickory, N.C. artist Tanya Casteel
will also be on deck with her spirit animals — yep, watercolor paintings of those creatures with which you feel a special kinship. Peruse Casteel's works — from cosmic elephants to rattlesnakes to a powerful lioness — on her Etsy page.
, created by Charleston resident Kristin Panke, will also be at the Joe in December, with gorgeous cuff bracelets, stone rings, shark tooth cuff links, personalized dog tags, and more.
The vendor list goes on, with Charleston-based mobile plant shop, haegur
