For one night a year, Blue Bicycle Books presents some of their best stories at their annual staff reading. The 20th Annual Bridge Run Reading is free to attend and takes place the Thursday before the Bridge Run, April 4 at 6 p.m.

Attendees can enjoy readings from Blue Bicycle Books staff including Sara Peck, Ben Adams, and owner Jonathan Sanchez.

There will be plenty of libations to wet your whistle as you listen to the writers' short and fun stories — and don’t worry, just because it’s a Bridge Run Reading doesn’t mean any cardio is required.

The Bridge Run Reading is one of the Holy City’s longest lasting literary events, starting in a Broad Street living room in 1999. It then moved from place to place including the old Cade Lana on Cumberland before settling down at Blue Bicycle Books for the last decade.

Sanchez is the author for one of Blue Bicycle Books’ all-time best sellers, Bandit, a collection of Bridge Run stories.
