Steve Palmer, managing partner of the Indigo Road Restaurant Group, tells us that he and executive chef Robert Berry have parted ways at Indaco
"He was a great chef," says Palmer, "but it was a bad fit."
You can read a lot into that spin, but Palmer isn't talking beyond that, except to say that Berry will be replaced by sous chef Michael Perez
, who worked at Masi's and Trattoria Lucca after relocating to Charleston from New York where he worked as a sous chef at Scarpetta.
The changing of the guard happened earlier today.
