A whole lot of renovation has been going on over at the Vendue Inn and that includes its restaurant. The new Drawing Room, which replaced The Library at The Vendue, opens today. Jon Cropf, formerly the head chef at Blu Restaurant & Bar on Folly Beach, is manning the kitchen as executive chef and turning out breakfast and dinner including buttermilk fried quail and biscuits in the a.m. to crespelle of braised rabbit, La Belle foie gras, and crab risotto in the evening.
Breakfast is 7-10 a.m., weekdays and 7-11 a.m. on weekends. Dinner is 4-11 p.m. weeknights and 4 p.m.–midnight on weekends.
