Warehouse has had a good year. From creating a legion of adult grilled cheese fans to welcoming a crew of folks who come just to play foosball, the understated spot on the corner of Spring Street has become a neighborhood favorite. Warehouse even got a solid review from CP last April with critic Eric Doksa writing, "Yes, Warehouse is just a bar, but it's a good one." And for all that co-owners James Groetzinger and Joey Rinaldi are thankful. “We are just so grateful for a great first year and Charleston has been so good to us. We want to throw a party for all our awesome patrons as a thank you for their support,” says Groetzinger.
And to celebrate Groetzinger and Rinaldi are throwing a party this Sun. July 29. The festivities begin with brunch from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. After brunch, the kitchen will close for the rest of the day, but there's no reason to worry — AutoBanh, Hot Links Homemade Sausage, Outta My Huevos, and King of Pops popsicles will be there. While you’re chowing down on some banh mi, enjoy live music by McKenzie Eddy and Quentin Ravenel from 4-6 p.m., Hubcap Annie from 7-9 p.m., and Billy Fountain from 10 p.m.-2 a.m., with DJ Black Olive spinning beats in between.
In the midst of all these shenanigans guests can enjoy drink specials like frozen Cathead cocktails and, of course, the usual Sunday Funday $5 drafts and wells. Warehouse has also prepared a special rendition of limoncello made in-house with grapefruit and shiso. With every frozen cocktail purchase you will be entered to win prizes like gift certificates, booze giveaways, and Warehouse swag.
