For the past week, Chef Nate Whiting's (formerly of Tristan) new restaurant 492 has been quietly hosting soft openings for friends and family. But the hostesses of the tony new spot say they're taking reservations for April 10. We got an early look inside and if the food is half as good as the chic design by architect Alicia Reed of Gibson Guess, (which, given Whiting's talent, it's sure to be) then diners are in for some great meals at 492 King St.

Here's a look around the new space.
