Luke Davis hand makes all his dough and allows it to rise 24 hours before baking it to order
Brittany and Luke Davis have been hard at work retrofitting 271 Ashley Ave. into their new Luke's Craft Pizza
. When I last spoke to Brittany, she said they were making final decisions on the interior and outside paint color. Now that work is done and yesterday Luke's Craft Pizza got its "A" retail food establishment permit.
"We're just waiting on our business license," says Brittany. "Once we get that, we can order food and start testing. The goal is to hopefully open by May 13."
Luke, who's worked at Mellow Mushroom and EVO, will sell 14-inch pies in a variety of combos, like salami with crushed tomato, mozzarella, fontina, and garlic.
