Harold's Cabin, the cozy Bill Murray, Mike Veeck, and John Schumacher restaurant on President and Huger, has quickly become one of my favorite morning stops. With it's cozy, exposed-wood feel, and friendly staff, it's an easy choice for my morning coffee addiction. But you don't have to be an early riser like me to enjoy Harold's anymore. Tomorrow the restaurant rolls out dinner service.
The menu — broken down into kickshaw, vittles, and nectar & regal — includes items like an approachable bison burger alongside more opaque descriptions such as the carrot, wheatberries, turnips, and rabbit wing.
Harold's will serve dinner Wed.-Sat. from 8 a.m.-10 p.m. The restaurant is open on Sunday from 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
Meanwhile on James Island, Stereo 8 has just added lunch service. Beginning today guests can enjoy an abbreviated dinner menu (entrees start at $9) between 11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Also, today at 3 p.m., a Stereo 8 rep will be on 105.5 The Bridge giving away raffle tickets for a purchase inside the restaurant. The winner of the raffle will get two tickets to Bonnaroo and will be named around 7 p.m.
