Prohibition’s signature dinner featured chef Bryce Shuman (who has a Michelin star to his name), Brad Kilgore (a 2016 Food and Wine mag Best New Chef nod), local 2Nixons ramen wizard Jeffery Stoneberger, and Prohibition’s own Greg Garrison.

The dinner, which ended the first full day of W+F, was sold out and the crowd was a lively bunch ready to be welcomed with specially-crafted cocktails upon entry. Drink pairings even featured local booze Virgil Kane. Courses ranged from a fine consommé from Stoneburger, to a rich duo of Hudson Valley foie gras from Garrison, a finessed poached rockfish from Kilgore, and Shuman roasting Guinea fowl on the grill.

The evening was a successful exhibition of culinary creativity, finishing with a buttermilk panna cotta from recent City Paper 'hidden chef' Analisa LaPietra, paired with Irish coffee to keep the night flowing.
