John Lewis cooks hot guts in the snow in Brooklyn
Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear argyle socks and save television ratings by barbecuing in the snow.
Such was the case with man of the hour John Lewis of Lewis Barbecue who braved New York City's blizzard aftermath today in order to bring CBS This Morning
's talking heads hot guts, beef ribs, and pork spare ribs.
Publicist Cat Taylor says that Lewis, along with Ben Garbee, Ray England, and Blake Joyal, hauled his smoker up from Charleston and parked it in Brooklyn so he could cook for the show.
"It was pretty surreal watching them barbecue in the snow," says Taylor.
