Harold's Cabin now hosting Lowcountry Street Grocery every Thursday

Eat your greens

Picking up some farm fresh toms mid-week just got a little easier if you're around the Wagener Terrace neighborhood. Harold's Cabin is the latest host of farmers market on wheels Lowcountry Street Grocery.

The big green bus — the brainchild Lindsay Barrow and Kate DeWitt — operates across the Lowcountry providing healthy, fresh produce and food to affluent and low income neighborhoods alike.

This week the bus has had everything from Mepkin Abbey oyster mushrooms, eggplants, cucumbers, butterbeans, and wild blackberries. LSG accepts SNAP/EBT in addition to cash and cards.

Each Thursday, LSG will part at Harold's Cabin from 5-8 p.m. Also on Thursday, Harold's now has live music featuring Bill Carson & Tyler Ross for its Hooch & Holler night. Cocktails are $5 and the tunes are free.
