John Daly staged at Gramercy Tavern, Perry Street by Jean Georges, and Le Bec Fin by Georges Perrier
Two days after Chef Emily Hahn's final service at Warehouse, the restaurant has announced its new chef, Jason Daly.
Daly comes from Vinalhaven, Maine's SALT
restaurant where he worked chef de cuisine. Last year the Portland Press Herald gave the restaurant three and a half stars.
With the arrival of the Le Cordon Bleu Boston grad, Warehouse owners James B. Groetzinger and Joey Rinaldi have announced in a press release that the Cannon Street bar will shift to a "progressive fare inspired by European flavors and technique."
“The new direction of the menu will be a blend of old world European technique with new American flavors and ingredients – what I like to call 'progressive Americana,'" Daly is quoted as saying in the press release. "Pulling from my New England roots, the new menu will blend Low Country [sic] and New England styles.”
Look for Warehouse to roll out its new menu soon.
