If the mere thought of standing in a line that wraps around four city blocks in the cold, early hours of the day after a gut-busting feast makes you queasy, you better skip the lines and head to one of these Black Friday booze fests. Shopping for that super marked down iPad that your sig other simply NEEDS will sound a lot more feasible after a few brews, we promise.

"Westbrook Tastes Like Rare" at Edmund's Oast
Westbrook Brewing and Edmund's Oast team up for this tasting of rare Westbrook beers. Starting at noon in The Bower, order a la carte brews that you won't find anywhere else, including Two Claw Creamfrickle, Two Claw with oranges and vanilla; Can Can Cerise, a sour cherry quad aged in Cognac barrels; Imperial Biscotti Mexican Cake Break "Spicy Nachos" edition; Chocolate Hazelnut Imperial Bisocotti Mexican Cake Break; Rinse & Repeat Wakatu and Motueka; and Jaune, a sherry barrel aged triple. Pair any of the pours with Edmund's Oast Executive Chef Bob Cook's old school burnt red barbecue chicken.

Holy City Brewing's Holy City Shuck Fest
Bivalves and beer are the perfect post-game to turkey and vino, no? Holy City Brewing and Charleston Oyster Farm say shuck yeah to an oyster roast at the brewery starting at 5 p.m. Bring your extended fam and throw back some oysters and beer while learning about mariculture/oyster farming in Charleston. Admission is free.

Bourbon County Black Friday at The Barrel
We can't forget man's best friend on Thanksgiving — skip the mall and head to the rambling green space at The Barrel. While Fido romps, sip on a fresh release of Goose Island's Bourbon County Stout. Kegs will be tapped at 4 p.m. and will flow until they run dry. The Chester Copperbot band band plays from 5 to 8 p.m., El Pinchotaco will be onsite with eats, and the fire pits will be blazing all night.
