Carrie Morey, owner of Callie's Hot Little Biscuit will be featured in the first episode of this season's 'Best Thing I Ever Ate'
Cooking Channel's popular series, Best Thing I Ever Ate
, a show where food stars and top chefs highlight the best damn thing that's ever met their mouths, premiered their last season in 2011. Six years later, the hit is back on the air, and Chucktown's very own Carrie Morey and her dreamy/flaky/buttery biscuits
will be featured on the comeback season's first episode.
Mon. Dec. 11 at 8 p.m. tune in as food personality Jamika Pessoa
"gushes" over Morey and her biz. The episode's theme is "Worth the Wait" — Morey's biscuits are in good company with Alton Brown's beloved Marcel Restaurant's Beef Wellington; Ali Khan's fave brisket at La Barbecue in Austin; Geoffrey Zakarian's choice burger at Au Cheval in Chicago; Beau MacMillan's preferred pasta sugo at Tratto in Phoenix; Roger Mooking's choice chicken and rice at Nong's Khao Man Gai in Portland, OR; and Duff Goldman's fave hot chicken at Howlin' Rays in Los Angeles.
New episodes will air every Monday with themes like "Feats of Meat," "Life Changers," "Picture Perfect," "#Throwback, etc. If the episode gives you better-get-some-biscuits cravings, Callie's is open on Upper King Street Mon.-Fri. 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sat. and Sun. 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and late night Fri. and Sat. 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
