Millers All Day is doubling down on nostalgia starting tomorrow Wed. Oct. 10. when they launch a new nightly family style three-course supper service that will run from 5 to 8 p.m.

Millers already serves up the breakfast all day plates, which co-owner Nathan Thurston told us earlier this year were inspired by his childhood: "I was fortunate enough to grow up in a household where we never went out to eat. We'd have a family style breakfast with scrambled eggs, chipped beef ... sitting around that table is a very fond memory for me. I wanted to bring that experience to a restaurant."

This supper service is also a nod to Thurston's past, with inspiration for the menu rooted in his memories of visiting his grandmother Ruby Thurston in Winston-Salem, N.C.

This week's menu features Ruby's Relish Tray, comprised of deviled eggs, tea sandwiches, pimento cheese, pickles, pepper jam, crudité, and crackers; fried free-range chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy, maple glazed rainbow carrots, braised kale with Broadbent ham, and biscuits; and a choice of a brown coconut cream, key lime, pumpkin ice cream, or honey pecan homemade pie.

"For a long time I have been searching for the perfect venue for my grandma's relish tray," said Thurston in a press release.

The supper menu will change weekly, rotating Southern classics like chicken pot pie, pot roast, braised pork shoulder, and fried fish and grits. The supper is $19 for adults and $7 for children and is also available to-go.
