Moe's Crosstown's St. Francis burger is available during Charleston Burger Week, with $5 going to Feed the Need
You know it, you love it, you've waited — huddled in the corner over a High Life — for it. The Moe's burger. Cheaper on Tuesdays and juicy every day, the burger is a downtown staple, simple but tasty, best served (in our opinion) with a fried egg on top.
Celebrate 20 years of bad ass beef (and the people behind the scenes) on Sat. Nov. 17 at Moe's Crosstown Tavern starting at 5 p.m. In addition to the requisite burgers, wings, and cheap domestics, they'll also have a New Belgium tap takeover with eight different beers, food specials, and a raffle. Raffle items will include a beach cruiser from New Belgium, snow skis, a Grizzly cooler, and more. There will also be giveaways, samples from KandE Spirits, and live music from Whit's End.
If the words "Moe's burger" triggers a Pavlovian response, don't wait until the 17th to indulge. Now through Tuesday Nov. 13 grab their special Charleston Burger Week
burger, the St. Francis (pictured above). The $12 half-pound Angus beef patty is topped with prosciutto, Brie, brandy apple chutney, tomato, and spring mix and is served on a toasted potato bun. Best part? $5 from every burger sold goes to Burger Week's nonprofit, Feed the Need, an organization that helps area shelters bring food the to hungry.
